Faux Marble Columns

This is the second project commissioned by this client, in whose kitchen I had previously painted grape vines and a trompe l'oeil niche. These columns, which stand between the kitchen and dining room of this home, were faux finished to mimic marble, using colors from both rooms. The second image shows how well the marble and grape vine work together. The before picture (inset) shows the column before it was painted
